There is nothing I love more than waking up on a beautiful Saturday morning, grabbing a coffee from the shop on the corner and walking to my local farmers market on Division Street. While walking around the market, my bags quickly fill up with fresh produce and gorgeous flowers.

The delicious samples of honey, fruit and bread lead me to buy a bit more than expected. However, there is one item I will never leave the farmers market without: kale. Kale is a versatile, staple ingredient in my home. Summer salad? Kale and fresh fruit. Meal prep? Kale, grilled chicken and sweet potatoes.
The list could go on. There is one salad that, no matter the occasion or time of season, always sounds great. I’ve linked the recipe below, and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do!
