Software Engineer
closerlook's Software Engineers collaborate with the other members of the closerlook team to create functioning web applications based on internally developed business requirements, user interface guidelines and graphic designs. This requires the ability to turn working knowledge of web technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript (jQuery), XHTML and CSS into solutions for our clients and their end users. A true passion for technology is a must.
Duties
- Construct new applications and enhance and support existing applications, based on guidance from client business requirements, a Technical Architect and the Director of Technology
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Work independently
- Analyze problems and offer multiple potential solutions
- Ability and willingness to convey concepts and solution to non-technical team members
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in full life-cycle development of web applications with ASP.NET/C#
- Demonstrated experience in database design and administration of Microsoft SQL Server
- Comfortable writing stored procedures
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience on technical projects with limited supervision and with strong attention to details
- Identify and provide supporting documentation of procedures and requirements
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Windows Server 2003-2008 R2
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field

- Building and consuming RESTful web services using ASP.NET and WCF
- Objective C/iOS development
- Social media API experience
- Cloud deployment experience
- Photoshop/minor graphic design skills
- Prior experience working in an interactive agency environment
