An end to the war

Not THAT war. I’m talking about the high-definition disc war otherwise known as Blu-ray vs. HD DVD. Engadget reported today that Toshiba is expected to announce the discontinuation of HD DVD sometime tomorrow. I’d like to say that I had waited to pick my pony is this tech race until a winner was decided but I just couldn’t wait to see REAL (not compressed by cable or satellite) HD content in my home. Sadly, I picked the loser. R.I.P. HD DVD. We barely knew you.
