Firefox portable

This one goes out to all those oppressed workers on IT lockdown. Maybe you don’t care that you can’t use Firefox for “security reasons”, but if you do, there is a solution. Portable Firefox is designed to be run from a removable drive, usb thumb drive, or even a CD. There a quite a few other useful portable applications available too. I actually carry Filezilla portable on my key chain. I have all my FTP settings saved so I can easily jump on any computer that has a USB port and have access to any site that I am responsible for. It actually came in handy not too long ago when my EVDO card was failing and I needed to post a file. Luckily, I was on a university campus so I just popped into the computer lab, fired up Filezilla, and made the update.
