Free movies in the park
June 14, 2007By Julie LindDon’t say the city never gave you anything. They are giving free movies all summer. Chances are that your local park is running one or two. My neighborhood park, Portage Park, will be showing Happy Feet on July 13. Is it scary that this respresents excitement in my life?
In addition, Grant Park hosts a series of outdoor movie showings. The start time varies according to when the sun sets. That should be just enough time to settle down to a nice picnic before the show.
