But you’re just going to miss seeing the really good stuff.

This is not cool to admit, but I’ve never really cared about the Nintendo Wii. I’m somewhat impressed that it’s given a traditionally sedentary activity some degree of physicality, sure—but I’ve simply never been much of a gamer. With the exception of Tetris. I used to play Tetris for hours upon feverish hours on an old-school, brick-sized Game Boy. I’d play until I saw game pieces in my dreams at night and embedded in the kitchen-floor tiles at my mom’s house. And I just don’t see any compelling reason for Tetris to require any physical activity. At all.
Then I saw this movie by Swiss creative agency NOTsoNOISY. Part of the GAME OVER project, human pixels are grouped into Tetris pieces by matching t-shirts. They move from seat to seat in a theater, and it all gets animated into a short film. I’m sure this would be awfully frustating to try out with your friends, but a great idea all the same.
