Rosecrans Baldwin, co-editor-in-chief of The Morning News, is chronicling his life after a recent move to Paris in a series of dispatches. The first installment offers both an amusing account of the headaches of adjusting to life abroad, and a vicarious thrill for readers who have ever imagined living and working in a European capital.
Rosecrans’ piece follows in the footsteps of an essay collection that offers similar pleasures, Adam Gopnik’s From Paris to the Moon. It’s a good read if you’re headed to Paris, and an even better read when you’ve returned home.
