Saved by the Dance...

Who would have thought my favorite TV show couple of all time: Jessie Spano and A.C. Slater would each be hosting their a reality TV dance show hit in 2008?

Jessie Spano aka Elizabeth Berkley is the host of “Step It Up and Dance” on Bravo while A.C. Slater aka Mario Lopez is hosting Randy Jackson’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” on MTV. Jessie Spano first showcased her dance skills on Saved by the Bell as a vital member of Hot Sundae girl group; although during this time she was addicted to caffeine pills in order to get those ever important perfect grades to get into Stanford (remember the infamous “IM SO EXCITTED” scene with Zack Morris??).

A.C. Slater’s skills were debuted to us way back in the Kids Incorporated era. These talents were kept hidden until they were unleashed on Dancing with the Stars, carrying him all the way to the finals to which he lost to NFL great Emmit Smith.

Now I believe it is the right of those like myself who grew up in the Saved By the Bell genre to experience a reunion of some sort; and I am not speaking of that horrible College Story spin off they did. Maybe they can create some sort of reality reunion show/dance challenge for the cast of SBTB (Saved by the Bell). Hopefully the rest of the cast members will be inspired by their former costars to come out of hiding and get this great idea rolling. Until then, I will be keeping an eye on my favorite excouple and their dance shows.
