The Future is Unwritten
November 15, 2007By Dave ReidyWe teased Work + Play readers with the prospect of Julien Temple’s documentary, Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten, back in March. This week, the film slides into a wider release and I can’t wait to see it. Chicago’s venerable Music Box Theater is celebrating the film with a special screening, to be followed by Q&A with Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot of public-radio rock ‘n’ roll talk show Sound Opinions. Tickets are under $10 and still available, so far as I can tell. Get yours.
