The Good Problem
December 10, 2007When I hear the phrase pulling the ad, I generally associate that with bad business, people getting offended, or a mixture of the two. For Nintendo and their Wii console, this is a good thing.
It was recently reported that Nintendo is pulling all of their UK advertising for the Wii until after the Christmas rush. Their reason behind this is to contain the demand for the Wii that is bigger than the 1.8 million units being created each month.
All of this is a little crazy. If you feel like joining in on the fun, this might help. Begging and pleading with the store manager might help as well.
Or go out and buy Rock Band and an XBox.
