But you’re just going to miss seeing the really good stuff.

So it seems that two of Work + Play’s favorite topics have collided. Threadless and bags. Threadless, one of our favorite Chicago rags to riches companies, has struck a partnership with Timbuk2 Bags to offer four limited edition messenger bags featuring Threadless designs. Although Timbuk2 hasn’t really innovated their bag design since the mid 90s, they have made some significant advancements over the years in allowing customers the ability to customize that basic design. I actually think they could have chosen better designs from Threadless’ now overflowing arsenal of imagery, but that’s just my personal taste. Maybe someday soon you’ll be able to choose any design from Threadless and get it on your bag through their bag builder tool. So Threadless is on t-shirts, prints, wall graphics and bags. What’s next? Shower curtains? Let us know where you’d like to see Threadless designs show up next.
