A former agency president and a global account lead join closerlook to nurture growing client base

Digital-native marketing agency closerlook, inc., has brought on two seasoned agency executives to help nurture and manage its growing portfolio of new business. Former CDM president Gregg Geider joins the agency as VP, managing director. Julie Spoleti, who served as a senior vice president at several New York agencies is now managing director. Both Geider and Spoleti come to closerlook at a time of explosive growth as the agency continues to guide client brand campaigns through the digital transformation accelerated by the pandemic.

Gregg Geider, previously president of CDM New York, brings his passion and strong leadership skills to closerlook. He has overseen more than 30 biotech brand launches, led diverse global teams and nurtured client relationships to win their trust. In addition to serving as president of CDM New York, he successfully led the CDM Princeton office and he has also managed teams at FCB Health, Ogilvy and Harrison and Star. Geider is a graduate of Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and business management.

“Gregg Geider brings an elevated level of senior level strategic experience and will help drive our clients’ brands to new levels of success,” said Allison Davis, closerlook’s chief client officer.

“At closerlook, I’ll be able to do what I love most, which is spending time with clients offering strategic advice and guiding their brands forward,” said Geider. “It’s where I find the greatest joy and the most fun in the business.”

In addition to Geider, the agency also has recently selected Julie Spoleti to serve as a managing director. Formerly a senior vice president at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness and Grey, Spoleti held leadership positions for 20+ years in strategy and client services, working on the world’s largest brands to the rarest of diseases. Spoleti brings deep consumer pharmaceutical marketing expertise to closerlook, with brand strategies for every stage of a product lifecycle from pre-launch to launch, re-launch to LOE, with an innovative approach to DTC, digital and customer relationship management.

Prior to working at the closerlook, Spoleti was instrumental in building some of the most well-known pharmaceutical brands at leading New York agencies. She has launched and nurtured multiple global brands in almost every therapeutic area. She received her master’s in marketing and international business from Fordham University in New York and her bachelor’s at Gettysburg College.

“Julie Spoleti is a force to be reckoned with,” said Davis. “She brings her calm and confident leadership to every client engagement and always knows the next step that the brand should take. Importantly, both Gregg and Julie believe in the philosophy that to optimize brands, clients need great agency partners they can trust. That’s our aim, to be each client’s trusted partner.”

“closerlook has a truly unique and inclusive culture that is missing in other agencies,” said Spoleti. “The clients are also open to exploring news ideas, which enables us to present innovative strategies that will help their brands stand out.”
